Conveying the lack of confidence on the part of the writer by using certain words such as," it may be", "I may think it to be", etc., indicates that the writer is on a weak footing. This adds to the confusion in the mind of the reader and prevents him from developing a clear picture. Care should be taken not to be apologetic by belittling yourself in the sense of using words pointing to lack of confidence and insecurity in the views expressed. Whatever is put across should show the writer's belief in the correctness of his ideas.

Such style in writing on the part of the writer reflects in the confidence and correctness of his beliefs and ideas of the writer in the content of the essay. The sentences towards the end should be thought provoking, kindling creative ideas in alignment with the main theme, enabling presentation of these ideas if necessary, in a more simple and colloquial manner to a less enlightened audience, thus receiving due respect and recognition of the ability to explain matters.
