Introduction:

Every business organization has their own strategized management system that helps in meeting the goals and objectives, catering to the development of performance and productivity. The key personnel referred to as managers help in gearing up the organization towards meeting the requirements of global consumers. Management is considered to be the evaluation and implementation of effective planning, organizing and controlling the business productivity, employee performance, checking resource availability, and attain the organizational goals (Krush et al. 2016).  One of the significant works of manager is to train and develop the employees and conduct the organizational process while help in inspiring people who work under organizational setting. The essay focuses on the understanding of the business environment and the role of the manager in evaluating and eradicating work pressure caused due to external and internal factors.


Identification and explanation of two pressures on organizations and managers in the current business environment and how managers can alleviate these pressures:

Organizations are highly affected by the internal and external factors and forces that create pressure on organizations procedure, process, productivity, management, pricing etc. the external and internal atmosphere that challenges and change management approach and system affecting the employees, production, performance. Examples of organizational pressure result from social, economic, strategic, operational, and technological change that generates with or within the organization. The organization need to meet the changes and challenges in the filed of macroeconomics, technological production and advancement, globalization, legal and political factors and national and global competition. The changes and caused due to adverse pressure from the external and internal atmosphere affects the planning, entrepreneurship, management, restructuring, training and development and work performance (Langley et al. 2013)


The two pressures on organizations and managers in the current business environment are mostly competitive pressure and adaptability of technology.The external factors like the competitive environment are caused due to the competitive landscape that affects the existing organizational budget, incumbents, mergers and acquisitions and bankruptcies. All these factors affect the strategy and operations within the organizational setting. For instance, when a competitor produces and launches a new product that put the market share and productivity under risks and threats causing pressure within the strategic work force and product planning and urging the company in adapting the changes and simultaneously retains their customer base (Zhu, Cordeiro & Sarkis, 2013). Secondly, technological changes create constant risk and pressure to organizational performance and productivity. The organization need to regularly arrange funds and have capital in meeting the new technological updates and equipment that will help them modifying and improving their product. The organization need embrace new equipments that are much ahead of the competition that need proper adaptability.


In dealing with the organizational complexities and difficulties it is important for the managers to strategize the planning of performance, productivity and management policies. It is important in the part of the managers to increase the quality of performance and encourage the employees in meeting the challenges and change (Karami et al  2016). With the global competition, the leader need to deal with pressure on almost everyday, therefore proper organizational training is required so that the members will be able to easily overcome the pressure and foster quality performance and reduce the burden that the pressure tends to serve. 


Identify and explain the theoretical foundations of the fields of management and organizational studies and the development of contemporary organizational management theory:

Theories of organizations involve the rational thought process and guidelines in relation to organizational management. The theories are of different types such as modernization theory, bureaucratic theory, contingency theory, administrative theory, classical organizational theory and neo-classical theory. The management theory attempts to evaluate the methods through the managers will be able to monitor, govern, supervise, and examine the organizational process and production Administrative theory was established by Henry Fayol (Molla, 2016). The theory determines several principles of management that is referred to as a set of planning, structuring, training, and conducting and communication functions. Classical organization theories was propounded by Taylor in 1947 and further developed by Fayol, 1949. The theory emphasizes concepts of management in order to maximize management and performance efficiency. Neoclassical theory emphasizes individual or group behavior and human relations in determining productivity. The neoclassical theories determine the performance, policies in regards to the work management that will help govern the individual, team and participatory management (Perera, Zhou  & Victoria, 2016).  


Modernization theory helps in identifying and investigating the existing changes and transition caused by the developing shift from traditional society to a more modern one. Although the theory has not been adopted by is linked to the American social scientists in the 1950s.  Weber stated and propagated the bureaucratic theory that formulates two important elements (Sugiharto, 2016).  First, it attempts to structure organization into a different hierarchical structure. Secondly, it helps them to examine, conduct and govern the member and organizational process within the rational-legal decision-making rules. A contingency theory refers to the organizational theory that states the possible and the best ways in organizing a corporation that will help lead a company and make effective decisions. The application of the theories helps in examining the concepts and structure within the organization and help in adapting to the changes in the environment. 


Relevant critical and analytical thinking to solving management and organizational problems encountered by contemporary businesses:

Operational issues and problems leads to lower productivity and lesser profit resulting in depletion of business energy and resources. In order to solve the issue, it is important for the managers and the leaders in applying innovative, rational, analytical and creative skills and policies. The manager needs to follow five significant steps that are assessing the problems, identification and examination, diagnosing the situation of the problem, generate alternative solutions lastly implementing of solution (Oh, Cho & Yim, 2016).  The ways through the manager and the workers of the organization will seek to solve the problems, risks and threats is to define the problems clearly to every member, analyze the sources of such problems and the driving force whether external or internal, examine the actions relevant in solving the issue, collaborate with the members in making decision about the implementation of the right action and strategy, train the employee towards the understanding of the action and changes, prioritize the potentials solutions and lastly implementation of the action in proper ways (Mazzi et al. 2016)


Conclusion:

Proper management and leadership help in attainting goals through effective direction and decision s in making expanding business process and inspire the employee structure and performance. Enterprise needs to appoint skillful managers who will help in motivating, conduct, direct and influence others. Organization need to at recruiting efficient people who are eligible in taking on to leadership role and develop the business for the longer term, benefit and profit. The management should train its members towards generating possible solutions and able to make right set of actions and choice during such circumstances. Organizational management system therefore needs to provide better response to the changes, challenges, disputes, queries, in regard to the organizational issues. There are several approach that the organization need to apply that include understanding of the external and internal influences and pressure, transformation process, communication system, management and training, profit control, and a way to reenergize the system. Effective application of the theory and approaches will increase productivity and enhance organizational performance.
