Assessment 4: User Documentation

Objective(s):

This assessment item relates to the unit learning outcomes specified in the unit descriptor. This assessment is designed to assess students on how they adopt a systematic approach to produce a quality system and use their problem-solving skills to solve issues and manage risks during the implementation of a project.

Instructions:

Assessment 4 – User Documentation Report (10% → 2% (Group) + 8% (Individual))

In this component you need to prepare a user documentation for your project. The user documentation should be based on the system that you have designed and implemented earlier. In this Assessment, you will be describing how your prototype operates. Your user document should be easy to understand and not confusing for the end user.

In the user documentation, you must include the following items in detail:

• Features of your prototype
• How to use the prototype that you have implemented
• How to resolve common problems with your prototype

The report must follow the template provided on the LMS. Please note that citation of sources is mandatory and must be in the IEEE style.

What to submit:

Submit your report on LMS using the Turnitin link created for Assessment 4. Note that your Assessment will be checked by Turnitin and you will be provided with a similarity score. This will be considered when grading the Assessment and the incidents of plagiarism will be penalized accordingly. If your similarity score is high, you can re-submit your report, but re-submissions are only allowed until the due date. If you submit your Assessment after the due date, re-submissions will not be allowed.
