Description This assessment requires you to answer five questions, all related to the scenario below (in italic font) utilising parts of the clinical reasoning cycle. A template is provided in the Blackboard course, through the Assessment link and the Assessment 1 folder.
Choose either Mrs Kwong or Mrs Biggs, who you have met in NURS1103.
Your chosen patient was admitted to the medical ward in the hospital last night. You have been given the following information (handover):
Admitted overnight with an infected wound on lower leg. Respiratory Rate (RR) 16, Blood
Pressure (BP) 95/60, Heart Rate (HR) 115, Temperature (T) 38.4, ward urinalysis (U/A): specific gravity (SG) 1.025, pH 6, mild+ ketones.
You have been asked to interview your patient to learn about their health history, living situation, mobility, diet and nutrition.
