This is a Group presentation extended from your group reports. It will involve a summary of both your reports in assessment 2 (Part 1 and 2). As a group, you will submit a Peer Evaluation Form (available on Blackboard). Marks will be distributed individually based on peer evaluation.
Part A: In this part of the assignment, you have engaged in a policy analysis. Summarize the report in terms of the following for the presentation: 1. The Problem and Context 2. Targets, Stakeholders and their Representation 3. Policy process 4. Policy Solutions
Part B: In this part of the assignment, you had developed an advocacy strategy. Summarise the report in terms of the following for the presentation. 1. Present the problem that was addressed, highlighting the significance of the issue with support of evidence 2. State the cause of the problem and the solution that you wished to achieve through advocacy 3. Highlight the salient points from the strategy on how the group proposed to: a. build a coalition and support from stakeholders b. engage with and empower the community c. undertake media advocacy and communicate your messages to the wider public d. Addressing any ethical issues arising from your advocacy campaign 4. Finally, identify the indicators you have proposed to use to assess how effective your advocacy campaign is
