Introduction and study of patient
The following structure well describes about patient. The patient is the center theme of this study. The interviewer interviewed the patient and it has result in to find some conclusions. The major part that this study shows is that there should be present number of questions on spiritual needs as this has been defined well in the transcript. The description of the patient is well described in scenario part.
The scenario of this present study deals with the fact that there is the man age around 42 years and is suffering from diabetes and low blood pressure. Occasionally the patient is very much cautious about his health. The patient wants to have better understanding with another person. The spiritual needs that patient need is focused in the transcript part.
Interview to patient
Interviewee: What do you feel when you see yourself in this state of condition? The question put by interviewer is described as there are many spiritual needs of the patient and these are as listed below:
There is the moment that in the life of the patient they should be beyond the senses. This sense should be known to have sensory pleasures and when someone is living under these senses then he is unable to control his mind. So, the patient in this case, requires going beyond the senses that will help and support them to work within the sphere.
Hope is another factor that affects the life of everyone. When someone is sustained with hope then god is ready to open the entire path for devotee.
Patient: The patient seems to be like more centered and was compared in the two different situations. One was 15 days earlier and other was 15 days later. According to (Grainger & Grainger, 2010). When the first question was put forward, then the religious belief occurred to the mind of the patient. And patient sees this with firm faith, hope and belief. The patient thinks that being spiritual brings one near to the god. The patient demonstrated about his faith to the god. The patient preference in life is about health conditions. The patient is of this view. This according to the joint commission resource takes care of the fact that there are hopes, resources and possible outcomes that are related to the spirituality. It is very important to listen the patient needs because when any patients come then they require lot of attention. But this is changing time where one is surviving
Interviewee: How do you react to whatever activities occur in your life? According to element of performance that was found in the ‘’provision of care and treatment’’, joint committee found that there is the need for the support to the patient. But the question that was put forward was that whether the nurse or the caretaker of the patient who is suffering from diabetes that ranges high at pressure and where one faces the problem should be well guided.
Patient: What is then spirituality? The spirituality or being in the state of spirituality are two distinct objects. The former could be to that that is householder and is living with the material and spiritual needs both. But from the monks-life, one can come to the conclusion that they deny all the material life and accept the spirituality all the way. The later is connected to follow the path of the meditation. In some of the centers of hospital were psychologists are available they tend to play the role of the dominant leader. It is mostly seen that when the spiritual assessment is made, then the major factor that is to be considered is to be taken with a view that they should carry some good meaning within the different factors. The good health is not enjoyed by all (Woodward, 2007).
Interviewee: What is your opinion about your being spiritualistic?
Patient: Then it is the right duty of the nurse to fulfill the spiritual needs of the patient. It means them at their pain need to get the relief in such a manner that will convert their thought from positive to negative if they are unable to do the task (Shamy, 2003). Therefore, with this the spirituality should be well known to everyone. Every patient needs the healing process to be gone through his or her body. (Mowat & Swinton, 2007) is of the view that with this, they ensure that their life will not be in any danger once they are relieved. There should be the empowerment of love from the self and an ultimate source. According to some, they say the soul is connected to god, then why the miseries come? The accepted answer is how way one has behaved in the previous birth
Interviewee: Do you really believe you are alone? In this case, it might be that your family is supporting g you despite that due to your illness you are feeling loneliness?
Patient: The patients should be given teaching of all these things so that they fulfill all the conditions of the spirituality. It is well said that hope is the gist of all the problems. When the illness is prevailing inside the patients then they should be given the spiritual preaching’s. In the recent time, the life of the people is so busy that when their own family member suffers from grave diseases then the common root of these problems is that with their busy nature they don’t find the time to make approach to the patient. The patient seems like that they have to supply more of their thoughts to the person concerned (Stanworth, 2004). Let us take the example, suppose there is the nurse and the patient is suffering from the aforesaid diseases and is getting nervous.
Interviewee: Do you believe in god?
Patient: yes, I believe in god. It is the god that supports well.
Interviewee: What is your first preference in your life?
Patient: When the mind is filled with the positive thoughts and energy then it is commonly found that there should be developed in the right manner. The spirit of oneness is that that is preached to everyone. Every patient needs to have healed to healing their wounds of grief and pain so that they do not make any negative contention with them. They should be followed with self-right approach.
Interviewee: what is your spiritual demand to be fulfilled?
Patient: The patients want to live with peace, love and integrity and when they are supplied by these factors then it is commonly found that they are good working mechanism for the patients. The spiritual self should rouse to the higher self. When one is ready to know about the self then one definitely wins the race of the life and can get cure soon well.
Documenting the interview response and transcript as mentioned above
People find different means to survive. None has the time to look up at the patients. This makes the patients more self-centric and as a result of this they feel loneliness (Stiebritz, 2010). When they are alone they would feel some thoughts that should boost them, these thoughts are known as boost making thoughts or positive thoughts.
Everything went well between the person taking the interview and the patient. The patient was very responsive to all the questions that were asked. In some of the cases, where one was not able to recognize the question, then the patient asked it again. The patient was all in the comfortable state. For example, when the patient was put question number c, then the patient seems to be very responsive. The patient was having a hope and faith that one survived with. The patient was suffering from low blood pressure. No, there were no kind of the barriers were present and there are like the fact that the challenges should not be present there. In the meantime, the challenges should be like how to continue the questions (Fitchett, 2002). But, simultaneously there were some problems in the assessment tool and it means that while making the assessment of the patient, some new techniques are to be adopted that should be electronically in nature. It shows that it resembles like the way that would support the fair reasons to it. To meet the spiritual needs of the patient this tool is very effective in the way that it would provide all better means to serve the needy person. The tool that is sued here is that to communicate with full confidence so that patient gets no kind of the nervousness. It is also meant to be understood that the tools that were used were compact in nature. They were all like that can be used anywhere in any similar circumstances.
(DeBono et al., 2017) is of the view that yes, the illness and stress has definitely played a greater role in the development of the patients needs that are spiritual in nature. It should be first known that when some being is living in stress then they are more connected to seek the help from the god or from some super powerful agency. It is also seen that there are various backgrounds and every being have different sort of spiritual thoughts yet they all try to reach to the same god. The above mentioned spiritual needs paths in the interview part reveals how any patient is self centered and patient could give different types of substances.
For example, the patient was suffering from low blood pressure due to which patient received the heart attack. So, it can be said that here the patient was not in the good conditions for the long time. Therefore, the patient needs to get more kind of service by the family but when denied the same the stress occurs (Bowden & Lux-Sterritt, 2012). So, it is the good example to explain the same. In another example, there is the chance to have some chances to lower down the problem of the patient that could be done with respect to it. Thus, more kind of attention is needed to the patients. The patients always need the spiritual support. When the spiritual support is given to them then they are filled with joy. One that happiness could bring everything to the patient. When any patient is not in good condition, or is suffering from various ailments then the proper question is that related to these facts.
